i mean COME ON, you wanna impose tudongs on the non muslims now?no offence to the muslims, but to us non muslims the only purpose i can find for the tudong is that it helps restrict our vision. Come to think of it, correct me if i’m wrong here, but i believe it isn’t even compulsory for muslims to wear the tudong, am i right?

I think i’m right here, cuz i know Jeff’s mum doesn’t wear a tudong. I know Farhan’s mum doesn’t wear a tudong. Heck, Siti Nurhaliza doesn’t wear a tudong. Are they criminals? i think not. Does Siti Nurhaliza, in not wearing a tudong entice me into wanting to rape her? of course not. In fact, if you look at the statistics closely, the so called “islamic states” of malaysia are one of the top few with incest cases. And this is supposely the states which completely segregates men and women, does not allow revealing of flesh blah blah and that jazz.

And the government is making so much noise that the policeforce consists majority of malay people, who are muslim of course. how do you expect non muslim chinese and indians to want to join now that they are forced to wear a tudong?

Heres a thought. Since its not an offence to NOT wear a tudong for muslims, hows this for uniform?

Last friday was the day

it was my first

i had never done it before

it was 10pm that night

………i went clubbing! wheeee~

i went with Sarah and Steph( yea sarah i FINALLY got to go with you) and we were suppose to go to KL, but after some warning from Steph’s friends we decided otherwise- they said because of the ongoing F1 parties and the Levi’s party at Zouk there would be a high chance of raids.

So, Bangsar it was.Sarah’s dad dropped us off at McD’s and we walked to Castle’s..where it Ladies Night (everynight in fact) and because i don’t closely ressemble a lady i paid 20bucks=/. We were there early, and there was hardly anyone dancing there- but the music was good( playing Check on it when we entered) and so after a few sips of beer we got to the dancefloor and started dancing- man i felt like i was being liberated i haven’t danced for so long..and the whole clubbing dancing thing was a eyeopener for me too. i saw a bunch of real skankwhores dancing like they were fucking the wall(which was quite interesting to watch really) which ended with all of them smoking.dumbshits. Apparently not for some guys cuz the next minute this bunch of caucasians were grinding behind them (dancing of course) like nobody’s business. Skankwhores of course were enjoying it and they were using them to dance like they were poles( not too far off, the only difference was that they had hair).

Oh yea and OH MY GOD i have NEVER in my WHOLE life seen so many people making out before.NEVER. SWEET LORD that was the moment the *cough*innocence*cough* of poor yow keat was broken. everywhere i looked there were people making out and all i was trying to do was look away and enjoy my dancing =/.

Steph’s friends came midway and dragged us out to Asolute which was NOWHERE as nice as Castle( i had to pay 20bucks again, despite trying to flutter my eyelashes at the bouncer) and it was FILLED with INDIANS! not that i had a problem with that, but i had a slight problem with being the only three chinese people there, and for that matter almost half the average height there!we couldnt see ANYTHING, we were getting shoved everywhere and the floor was wet with goodness knows what(maybe i DON’T wanna know) and the song selection wasn’t THAT fantastic, besides the one good song they played, which was Pump it(yea Jon i was dancing my ass off to that one).

Towards something like 1am we ran back to Castle which was FILLED with people- i found it really had to dance so after a few songs i just walked out and took a rest. For some reason the girls joined me and we went back to Absolute, which i DIDN’T go in cuz i was so damn tired and i’ve seen enough grinding and making out for a night. a few shoplots away from me there was this commotion and there were a bunch of indians gearing up for a fight. Notice the nonchalentness of my tone here. Seriously if they weren’t so close to me, i would have laughed it off as a typical bollywood fight. They were throwing wooden menus you see outside of restaurants on the floor(OoooOoo…dangerous-_-) and they all grabbed beer bottles and smashed it against the kerb- only that instead of getting that spiked half-a-bottle to stab someone with they smashed the whole bottle, leaving barely even the handletip of the bottle.

4 and a half hours of hardcore dancing for me and i was truely spent. i had a stitch on my side which i carried and felt till monday, and i had trouble running up the stairs during the weekend=P but i really enjoyed it- and the next time i go i’m gonna make sure more people go and i’m gonna drag people from college/uni there as well =P
so watch it you guys you better make sure you come =)

i’ve been slacking of my posting, mainly because uni has started and all, so i’m settling in with the part of my life which has assignments and homework again. On top of that my internet was busted for around 3 days so i could only rely on the internet connection from uni=/

i’m also sorta collaborating with jon on a little something during what spare time we have left…which should be coming up within the next few days.Seriously not sure how it’ll work out, but its all the matter of fun and to bring enjoyment =)

In the New Straits Times some unknown minister(to me at least) said:” isn’t it better to have one fuel hike then seperate ones like last year?”

which brings me to the conclusion how stupid people in our government really are.

its the friggin start of the year and already theres a hike in the petrol- 30cents more, which means for this WHOLE year we’re gonna have to pay 30cents more. As compared to last year, there were 3 seperate hikes- which meant that at least the increase was gradual and so overall we would have paid less last year.Seriously, either they think we people of the public are stupid and we cant do simple maths or they can’t do maths.

on top of that i think i pity the lorry companies and hawker stalls. The government are disallowing them to increase prices- although thats good for me, but these supressed people have families and such to look after too? with the fuel hike, cost prices are gonna increase, no doubt but if you don’t increase the price of services such as lorry transportation and such the how can they possibly profit?what kind of free market is that?

all these problems, bear in mind are caused by the fuel hike.Why? Because the government can no longer subsidise the fuel prices for us. Whats the reason? they say because fuel prices are rising at a fast rate. I don’t think its a valid reason at all.Petronas are earning profits- and its a government controlled company isn’t it?So how bout we forget about sponsoring F1 teams and plough back this pile of money to subsidise the petrol prices?

or wait, how about this- we could also stop trying to save Malaysian Airlines or Bank Bumi who are both in the red.This two companies should be trying to loan money or something to save themselves, not having the government use people’s TAX money to save their asses. I for one don’t give a shit if Bank Bumi collapses. they’re in the red by millions, does this mean that the people’s money are gonna be used to save them?HELL no i think not, Bank Bumi has got freaking nothing to do with me or my family.

Malaysian Airlines- you would wonder why they’re in the red too. Well i’ll tell you a short story- this is what i heard from my cousin who studies in London. His term ended and he had booked an economy class ticket back to KL. MAS, however, somehow allowed the ticketing system to be overbooked and he was left without an econmy class ticket back to KL.As the whole plane was fully booked, this was what MAS offered my cousin- a stay for the night at a decent london hotel with 200pounds spending money, with hotel eating expenses paid.Tell me, how can MAS NOT lose money if this happens everyday?

lets do a little calculation-
Decent hotel room(average)- £150.00
Spending money- £200.00
Total- £350.00

£350X 6.8= RM2380

suppose 15 people around the globe riding malaysian airlines recieve this “compensation” everyday-

RM2380X 15= RM35700

and so in a year-

RM35700x 365= RM13,030,500

that is a WHOOPING 13million malaysian ringgit lost, just because of poor planning on their part. Wouldn’t you agree with me if i said the only thing right about them now is how correctly named they are- Mana Ada System

The first day i returned to uni i was pleasantly surprised to find that they changed the ticketing machines to ones that work with autopay stations =)shows that at least SOME of our ridiculously large sums of fees are being channelled into something useful and not for the Director’s new Merc or something.

This term i was suppose to do do the following subjects-
Biology 1022
Chemistry 1022
Fundamentals of Biotechnology
Accounting(as my elective)

i attended the first accounting tutorial on the first day to find that we have new books and software related to our assignments to buy=/
Apparently this book is SO new that it’ll only be out in June..so they specially ordered new books from Australia for us.The same goes for the software. Its suppose to be compulsory as it has to be used for our assignment, and its also shipped all the way from Australia. Both of them are “limited” in number, not to mention expensive- they come up to something like RM 350 in total.

So after a day of consideration i decided to do Contemperary(sp?) Worlds…which is basically a fancy name for world history. I chose this because i happened to see the course outline and i realised i came across these topics before during O level History =P

i came to know that some of my CHS friends are starting Monash this sem- haven’t seen any of them around campus though. Feels good to be a Senior =P

i still seem to be unable to make new friends in my course. Not that there’s something wrong with being with the old crowd, but i wanna make friends too, i mean who wouldn’t? whats sad is i cant even remember the names of the people whom i made friends with last semester =/

and i’m still very bloody confused.Its not really like bothering me right now, but its just this niggling thing at the back of my head that refuses to go away- partially because i’m sorta going against my principles. my..Logical thinking tells me to forget, but..my other doesn’t want to let go. Which results in conflict..and conflict between oneself’s own brain is pretty tedious stuff.

Tomorrows the last day to submit the fees..Eeeps..i gotta remember to submit it in tomorrow or i’m gonna get the 100buck penalty.
