After coming home to read the papers the day before yesterday, i was left with yet another sickening feeling. A forum, allowed by the police and the government to discuss on the topic concerning the rights of the minorities in Malaysia were RUDELY interrupted and stopped by a demonstration of 400 people, organised by the Anti-Inter-Faith Commission known by its Malay acronym “Badai”

The big question is why the members of authority had allowed a group of 400 people, participating in a ILLEGAL gathering stop a group of 200 people, participating in a legitimate, civilized gathering. you cannot tell me that all of a sudden the anti riot police were ALL busy with lunch or something and couldn’t rush to protect basic civilian rights.

Bullshit

The police should already have anti riot police there to be ready for anything, knowing the nature of these nonsensical heretics. If i’m not wrong there were a few of these idiots protesting to the concert of Fort Minor and Incubus when they came too, i remember something of that sort in the newspapers.

Seriously. What harm can they do? You think by rapping, throwing in a swear word or two or some rock music it will cause the apocolypse to the islam faith in youths? Let me tell you what these IDIOTS are actually doing. They have no faith in the islamic youths, degrading them to the level where they could be morally destroyed simply because of some music.

but i digress.

Coming back to the penang forum thing, i cannot come to think what this ‘anti-inter faith’ group of people consist of. I mean, seriously, Anti Inter Faith Group? Whats THAT suppose to mean? you don’t want different faiths to coexist together? What kind of Malaysian bastard are you, you don’t read the Rukun Negara?Even an idiot can put two and two together, despite the lack of pictures in the newspapers. a forum concerning the minority? an anti-inter faith group? please. even my brother could tell me this group were mainly muslims. *shock* oh shoot i said it. Is the anti-inter faith internet police gonna come after me?

Know that i do not degrade muslims here in anyway. In fact, it is this bunch of unruly imbeciles who degrade islam. What kind of image do you think you are potraying to the whole of malaysia by having this demonstration? Great stuff you nincompoops, you potrayed that islamic people are ones who cannot stand coexistance with other faiths and will demonstrate and cause chaos everytime theres a LEGITIMATE forum going on, discussing about minority rights!

What sickens me further is that these people are middle aged people. Yea there was a photo in the newspapers, though they made it in the ‘photo negatives’ mode so that it didn’t seem so clear who were the ones protesting. Here we are in college and uni, all races mixing together and having a blast of a time and there you are, the so called leaders of our society (for now) creating havoc. Is this the kind of example you wish to set to the future leaders of your country?

So have a good thought next time before you decide to bring shame to your religion, your country and race in front of the whole nation will you? You might not want your dignity, but i know alot of other people want theirs.

Went to a seafood restaurant for dinner today with family today, the restaurant was kinda new to us and we knew about it cuz our parents heard about it somewhere. Its a weird topic to blog on, but i decided to do it because i don’t think i’ve done it before, and also cuz i’ll rather do this then do the update on whats been going on in college- i’ve decided not to put up the dissection pictures because i want Hon Faai to live till next year to see Man Utd lift the Treble again and Chelsea to relegate into the Nationwide Conference after Abrahamovich decides to walk out of the club to buy Barca and Jose to manage Wigan.

lol. Like thats gonna happen.

Anyway. Pantai Seafood Restaurant. I forgot to take a picture of the extrance, so this is the best i can give you-

Mm so after we settled down and ordered our food, my dad suggested we go look around at the fishes and crabs they have on sale.

Snow crabs- pretty cool stuff, they’re like huge ass albino crabs.

These arses are the expensive shit. RM 238 for one kilo! like HELL i’ll spend that kinda money to eat a crab.

okay now slow down a bit and take a look at this next picture.

Me:” hey pa, like what the HELL is that?!”
Dad:” There, thats what they call *insert chinese name for alien looking thing*“
Me:” erm. Right. What?“
Dad:” There, they eat it like Sashimi in raw slices or they can cook it also“

*Brother comes next to me*

Or the GeoDick. Take your pick. At least i name it as what i see it as.

And don’t look down on these things. It can live past 100 years, the longest living recorded at 160 years( i googled info on it). Its considered a chinese delicacy( big surprise there) probably cuz it represents long life and long…erm..appendage? lol

Anyway. Enough about the GeoDick.

As i was walking back from the fishes(and Geodicks) i saw like this small decorative stream thing running around the interior of the restaurant. In there were rocks-

Oh WOW wait a sec theres a fish too! Yea that was my initial though because they don’t move AT ALL. The fins don’t move, the gills barely flap, and the tail barely moves. I even asked my grandfather if they were decorative rocks. My grandfather proceeded to bend over to poke one, which scuttled away.

Now look at this one! if you look carefully, the top of its fin is peeking out of the water(the shiny part) cuz its so freaking HUGE. If you compare the amount of coins it has around it with the one above , this one has like 5 times more. Which brings me to this conclusion- the bigger and uglier the fish is, the more people try to toss one cent coins at it to make it move.

Ah the sweet feeling of being back online. its like jumping into a swimming pool of goodness in a sunny afternoon. and as i mentioned to Eric, the Euphoria of a Nerd. lol.

Anyway i digress. I’m suppose to bring you The Lost Pages, the info you all so, cough, crave for about me. i shall start from where i left off last, at the start of the easter holidays-

on the way down to the carpark at 1u when i saw this erm, over-enthusiastic fan of Hello Kitty.

Duuuuuude. I mean like she’s( i assume its a she. i mean even a gay guy has limits to his gayness, and this is a big toe over the line) even got her seats and steering wheel coated with Hello Kitty-ness. Pardon the license plate btw, i couldn’t be bothered to blank it out. Not like anyones gonna try stealing her (again, assumtion) car.

i can simply imagine her walking around 1u with a Hello Kitty top, skirt, handbag, socks, shoes and complete with Hello Kitty panties and handphone pouch.

really, how much do they pay these people to dress like this? i think to some extend prostitutes get it better- i mean hell at least they don’t need to be humiliated like this._. i wouldn’t be caught dead in that outfit( this is assuming that i’m some hot cute girl).

oh yea and i bought a new bag. I suppose its abit too late to show everyone the new bag now that i’m updating only now, but i’m sure there’re a few people who hasn’t seen my new bag yet =p

Hmm. i repaired my PS2(finally) and indulged myself to a torrent of new games( 3 only actually) Kingdom Hearts 2, God of War and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Still waiting to see when i can get Suikuden 5..and i’m waiting for Final Fantasy 12. ahhh…the life of a geek.

Anyway besides that i didn’t do much- and just as quickly as the holidays came it crept away.

When my mum came back from singapore she got me this book which i just finished today- Its called The Dragon’s Pearl.

Its a really good book about this girl, Sirin Pathanothai who was the daughter of a Thai politician who was sent to stay in China under Premier Zhou when she was 8. Its an autobiography btw. Interesting stuff.

anyway thats all for my update on the holidays- i’ll post up the continuation in my next update, i got a INT essay and a chem lab report to finish
