Oh to my horror, its been oh so long since I last blogged.
Oh to my horror, after being away from the lab for a mere 2 days I miss it already.
Oh to my horror…. oh now there I don’t suppose you want me to continue ranting do you?=)
Now would you look at that. An actual picture of my ever elusive room. I dont suppose anyone has ever seen this, haha. Pardont the wires you see there, I’ll sort it out sooner or later. I’m happy to report that I did NOT tidy up before taking this photo, and its been this amazing state in relative comparison to what it used to be when I first moved in =P
Anyway last week I finished about 50% worth my summer projects grade, which included a 25 minute powerpoint presentation I had to give on Friday. Although nervous and rather pessimistic about the outcome(as always) I am happy to report that I kicked ass. ( or so i think I did) My supervisor was happy with what I did and I got “interesting stuff!” from some fellow presenters, and other supervisors as well.
After the happy happy celebrating (more or less alone) on Saturday and Sunday, I returned to my grind.
“Grind? What grind?” you ask.
For the other 50% of my grade my dears. Of which consist of a 8000 word report…and so far I’ve completed a first draft of 5100 words. Pretty close, you might say but my first draft consisted of more or less everything I wanted to talk about already.
Oh the horror.
